OUR AREAS OF WORK

HEALTHCARE

Billions of people around the world need access to life saving medical care.

We provide grants that further research in medical science and enable new therapies and drugs.

An important aspect of our work is extending critical care to those who need it most, including developing nations.

We look to work closely with various charities in Healthcare with a focus on research projects, improved access to resources, specialist equipment and our work in our chosen regions.

Providing grants for work that enables advancement in new therapies, drugs, treatments and general knowledge is a key aspect of our decision process.

In addition, helping charities which provide critical care to those in less developed countries with a lack of healthcare otherwise, is an important part of our work.

We are delighted to share that CureHeart, which the Thakrar Foundation supported, has won the largest ever grant in the British Heart Foundation's 60-year history.

Our goal is to support the lives of as many as we can and to improve quality of life through developing nations.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

In addition to our long term partnerships with non-profits focused on Health and Poverty, the Thakrar foundation focuses greatly on providing support to the local areas where we have a presence, notably Leicestershire and London.

Our work with the local community focused on shelters for the homeless, food banks (in particular faith-based centres that provide both physical and emotional assistance) and community events.
